Hi, I’m Rob Lambert

I’m the founder and director of Cultivated Management, a company specialising in helping companies build agile, inclusive and delivery focused businesses. I have worked in tech, HR and leadership. The insights generated by working with so many companies was the inspiration behind this Parent Brain blog.

By deconstructing so many workplaces I’ve gained a rich insight into how companies work and what it takes to excel in the workplace. Creativity, communication, career development, design and more are the bedrocks of Parent Brain.

Some of the content is my own writing, thinking, anecdotes, stories and learnings. Some stuff is curated from interesting places around the web.

No meal plans, no competitions, no product reviews – just food for your parent brain.

I am married and have three boys. I live in Winchester, Hampshire, but was born and raised in the steel city of Sheffield. I’m a Yorkshireman living in Hampshire.

I podcast about stationery, take photos, write and teach. I also love a good conference.

If you’d like to support this project then please consider buying the Employable Parent Brain book or sitting my online communication course.

I don’t hang out much on Facebook, but I share my posts there.

I do hang out on Instagram, so don’t hesitate to say hi.

Parent Brain Foundation

I believe very strongly that every person (and animal) has the right to the best quality of life they can, even if that life may be short.

That’s why I donate 5% of all revenue from Parent Brain, and my other business Cultivated Management, to charity.

2.5% always goes to Naomi House – a hospice in Winchester for life limited children and their parents.

The other 2.5% goes to a different charity each year.
